Căpățânenii, Romania
Our participants have successfully completed the “DO AND DREAM-DO ANDroids DREAM of Electric Sheep” project, which took place from April 10th to April 19th, 2024, in Capataneni, Romania. They’re now equipped with the skills and knowledge to tackle the challenges of the digital age and climate change head-on!
Throughout the project, our participants embarked on a transformative journey aimed at adapting to the fast-paced digital world, understanding artificial intelligence, and addressing the pressing issues of climate change. They explored these topics, gaining valuable insights and practical skills that will serve them well in their future endeavors.
One of the key focuses of the project was the development of digital skills among our participants. Through a series of interactive workshops and hands-on activities, they learned how to navigate the digital landscape with confidence and responsibility. From basic digital literacy to more advanced concepts like AI and AI ethics, our participants are now well-versed in the essentials of the digital era.
In addition to digital skills, our participants also gained a deep understanding of current climate issues. They explored the impact of climate change on our planet and engaged in discussions on ways to actively participate in sustainability initiatives. Through engaging with these topics, they discovered the importance of taking action to protect our environment for future generations.
A particularly exciting part of the project was exploring science fiction themes. Our participants watched sci-fi movies and discussed how these stories often provide insights into real-world technological advancements and ethical dilemmas. This exercise stimulated their critical thinking and innovation skills, encouraging them to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
The program was not just about acquiring new skills; it was also about building connections and creating a sense of community. Our participants had the opportunity to collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds, exchanging ideas and experiences. These connections will continue to grow long after the project has ended, creating a network of like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world.
The project was financed by the European Union within the Erasmus+ Programme and was organized by Euroactive NGO.
