ONE WITH NATURE
Youth Exchange
23.04-02.05.2024.
Căpățânenii, Romania
Our participants have just completed the “One With Nature” project, which ran from April 23rd to May 2nd, 2024, in Capataneni, Romania. They now have the skills and knowledge to face the challenges of sustainability and environmental protection!
During the project, our participants went on a journey to reconnect with nature, learn about environmental issues, and promote sustainable practices. They gained valuable insights and practical skills that will help them in the future.
One main focus of the project was developing environmental awareness and sustainability skills. Through workshops and hands-on activities, they learned how to interact with nature responsibly. From basic environmental knowledge to more advanced concepts like sustainable living and conservation, our participants are now well-equipped to care for the environment.
Our participants also learned a lot about current ecological issues. They explored the impact of human activities on our planet and discussed ways to help protect the environment. By engaging with these topics, they understood the importance of taking action to preserve our planet for future generations.
A particularly exciting part of the project was the practical activities. Our participants planted trees, went on educational hikes, and learned how to collect and manage trash responsibly. They also made short videos documenting their experiences, capturing their journey and the impact of their actions. These videos are a great way to raise awareness about environmental issues.
The program was also about building connections and creating a sense of community. Our participants worked with peers from diverse backgrounds, sharing ideas and experiences. These connections will continue to grow long after the project has ended, forming a network of people who are passionate about making a positive impact in the world.
The project was funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme and was organized by Aryas NGO.
