PAY IT FORWARD

Seminar

29.11.-05.12.2024.

Side, Türkiye

We’re excited to announce the successful completion of the Erasmus+ seminar “Pay It Forward”, held in Side, Türkiye, from November 29th to December 5th, 2024. This Mobility of Youth Workers project provided a platform for Euroactive Serbia to engage with like-minded organizations, exchange digital tools and best practices, and lay the groundwork for future collaborations in youth work.

Bringing together youth workers and NGO representatives from across Europe, the seminar focused on enhancing digital skills, modernizing communication and outreach strategies, and fostering long-term partnerships. In an increasingly digitalized world, many NGOs operate independently, missing valuable opportunities for cooperation. “Pay It Forward” aimed to bridge this gap by encouraging collaboration and co-developing strategies that integrate digital tools effectively into youth work.

From engaging workshops to interactive discussions, each session was designed to equip participants with practical digital tools and innovative methodologies. Every organization had the opportunity to present a successful digital tool or strategy, allowing for hands-on learning and exchange of best practices. The collaborative strategy development sessions enabled participants to work in groups to devise concrete plans for implementing these tools in their own work.

Beyond the knowledge exchange, structured networking sessions allowed organizations to establish new connections and explore future joint projects. Discussions centered around common challenges in digitalization, opportunities for cooperation, and how to sustain partnerships beyond the seminar.

Our participation in “Pay It Forward” highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge and fostering collective growth. The most significant achievement was contributing to the creation of a sustainable network dedicated to advancing digitalization in youth work, ensuring that the methodologies and tools developed during the project continue to benefit organizations in the long run.

Supported by the Erasmus+ program, this project showcased the impact of collaborative learning and shared innovation in youth work. Organized by Euroactive NGO from Romania, our team at Euroactive Serbia is proud to have taken part in this initiative and is eager to continue applying and disseminating the results within our network. We look forward to seeing the partnerships and strategies developed during this project flourish in the months ahead.
