Tražimo 7 participants from Serbia (16–25 years old) and 1 group leader (no age limit) to participate in the Erasmus+ youth exchange “THE WHY OF THINGS: Curiosity, Knowledge and Meaning” in Kemer, Turkey! In a world filled with short messages, fast facts, and overwhelming information, it can be hard to see how environmental challenges, politics, and technology connect to our daily lives. If you want to explore the real reasons behind societal and environmental issues using creative writing and storytelling as your main tools, this project is for you!

This exchange is great for you if:

– You are curious about environmental and societal issues and want to explore the connections behind everyday phenomena.

– You want to understand how environmental challenges tie into public policy, digitalization, consumption, and civic participation.

– You are eager to express your views through creative writing, reflection, storytelling, and outdoor activities (no previous writing experience required).

– You can communicate in basic English and are open to collaborating in an international team.

Part of the “Knowledge is Happiness” strategy, Omladinska razmena “The Why of Things” is built on the idea that understanding the world brings joy and curiosity. Writing gives us time to observe, question, and look beyond obvious answers. Across the week, participants will use storytelling, debates, research, and observational exercises not to become professional writers, but to use writing as a tool for thinking, asking deeper questions, and discovering the “why” behind how things are.
